Philipp and Laurel run the coffee roastery Vote in Berlin, Neukölln. In June 2016, they started roasting coffee in the space of Kaffee 9 under the roof of Markthalle Neun. VOTE takes a progressive path within the coffee world providing a wide selection of unique ethical coffees from around the world. No matter your taste, Philipp and Laurel have you covered. They roast coffee for everyone! Philipp founded KAFFEE9 in 2013 and the Berlin Coffee Festival two years later. Together with Peter Duran, he opened ISLA COFFEE BERLIN, which won an award for its concept – an ethical coffee shop dedicated to recycling. Because of Laurel’s comprehensive roasting and coffeeshop experience, she naturally became VOTE’s moral compass and the company’s liason for coffee purchasing and roasting.
